Wedding Ideas

I have been searching high and low for wedding ideas! Pinterest has the best ideas let me tell you!

Here is a detailed map in a picture frame! I looks super cool and would be a great gift if the loved one getting married grew up on a lake, pond, ocean or even a hill or mountain! It is super cool!

And of course we have a cutting board that is engraved! People usually get kitchen stuff for a wedding gift!! It is just putting a twist on something so simple!6d34310c640f078f6ee4454af4409cf5

Or even a gift basket filled with household items! Fill it with things that they will actually use and need in their home!

I have three weddings to attend in the month of July… not sure what to do for gifts. So much money… not enough time! Lets hope I figure everything out!

5 SIMPLE Relationship Tips

If you are married, dating or have a fling with somebody here are some of the tips and tricks I have slowly realized after many years.

This tip is very important… if you don’t listen to what each other has to say there is no point to be in the relationship.

Trusting each other is very important… it makes a solid foundation for the relationship to build upon. Although you should always be comfortable with the other person.. if you feel like something is up…trust your gut.

Whenever things get hard between you two, always choose to love! You feel like nothing is going right between you guys… talk it out and choose to love each other. I know from personal experience that choosing love might not be the easiest thing to do but choosing it was the best decision for me.

Being honest in a relationship is key. Keeping secrets helps nobody. Your partner should support you when it comes to you… If its embarrassing… I am sure your partner will having something just as embarrassing.

As hard and frustrating as it might be… when in a fight and both sides thinks they are right… you are better off giving up than fighting.

“Can we agree to disagree?” <—- this sentence has saved  my ass from being wrong and from getting into big fights.

I know there are only five tips but if you start to follow these simple and somewhat easy tips…. your relationship could be a little bit more smooth sailing!!

If you don’t feel safe in your relationship or you are getting abused in your relationship… just know you are not alone! Some links are down below if you need help or somebody to talk to.

Hello! Long time no talk!

It has been a BUSY few weeks!! Finals, finding a new job, graduation parties and getting time to spend with my friends and family! I did end up going to a concert the night before work… not the best idea… I don’t suggest it. Although I do suggest you all going to the concert! If you don’t know who these wonderful people are they are called X Ambassadors! I am currently OBSESSED with them!!!! Their music is amazing and I the band members were amazing! (Really wishing I learned how to play the piano)….:) Anyway I do have a few clips! I also just realized that I cannot upload videos on this site until I get the premium!:(

Well anyway I will have a link to their website so you all can check them out!!

ALSO!!! If you don’t remember who they are….

They sing…

Hope you have a wonderful day!

So… before you continue on!! This post will have some content that may be considered “gross”.

I had surgery on my deviated septum, I also had my adenoids removed , and tonsil removed as well.

So the day of the surgery…I entered the hospital at around 8:00 a.m. with loose clothing, no lotion, perfume, or makeup on.

I was taken in at 8:15, and put into a gown at 8:30…. they asked me a few medical questions and took my heart rate as well as put my IV in. And sent me in for the procedures. After a hour and a half…. I was out and awake.

Let me tell you… This is my second time going to the hospital for surgery and I had no issues each time. WHICH IS SO EXCITING!!! But everybody reacts differently to surgery!

Day one was great! No pain at all! I didn’t even take my pain meds because I didn’t have any pain! I obviously took my other medication to fight infections but I honestly had no trouble the first day!

Day two was not so good! I woke up with a dry and swollen throat and unable to breath. Still no pain in my nose though, which is great. I did end up going back to the ER to get an inhaler and a steroid to help the swelling go down which helped a ton! I had a great sleep after coming home and having the medication kick in.

Day three (today)!!! I woke up and my throat is back to normal size! NO PAIN! Honestly…. I am so thankful for the way my surgeries turned out! I guess I am very tolerant of pain… so I have heard.

The only thing I have really had trouble with would be food. I have been only allowed to eat soft and cold foods, like yogurt, ice cream, and ice pops. NOT THE IDEAL FOR SOMEBODY WHO THINKS PIZZA IS ITS OWN FOOD GROUP!!!! I am thin to begin with, and I lose weight fast. Im on day three and weight 8 pounds less. It is especially hard because I cant exercise, so I am losing muscle.

I don’t have any pictures of my nose, but it is stuffed with blood! It doesn’t hurt but I still cant breathe through it yet! ENJOY!

Anyways!!! Here are a few pictures of my throat after the surgery. Before the uvula was swollen (day one) and when the uvula was swollen(day two)!!! Can you tell the difference;)

Tis the season to get married! I have to attend two of my best guy friends weddings! One in July and one in August!

Once they announced their proposals…. it got me to thinking about my own relationship with my current boyfriend of two years. Will we be getting married? When? You know just questions about our future together!

After talking we decided we did want to get married but not for several years! So now I am in the mindset of marriage so I asked a friend if she wanted help planning her wedding! She said yes!!!!!!!!!!

We picked out several dresses which are posted above!!

We also found a VERY HELPFUL template!!! They call the it ULTIMATE WEDDING PLANNING CHECKLIST!!!!

I will keep you guys updated as we move forward!!

Have a wonderful day!!!

Day of Giving

Welcome back:)

Today I did something different. My family went to our local mall and handed out gift cards with balances up to $50.00 on them. We called it “Random Acts of Kindness”! It was not as easy as it seemed. We have always been taught to never talk to strangers. I really stepped out of my comfort zone for this, if you didn’t know I am not good at public speaking! We got an assortment of reactions …. HAPPY, THANKFUL, but also I had somebody get angry with me for giving them the gift card….To each his own I guess…

I just wanted to let you all know how thankful I am to be living on this Earth. I really am focusing on paying it forward lately….Even if it’s something small! Like buying someones coffee behind you in line!

Hope you have a wonderful Saturday!

God Bless.

Find Your Passion

For the past 6 months I have been going to church! Doing so I have found a stronger bond and a new found love for God once again and let me tell you it feels amazing! In the past I was so busy was sports that I was unable to go to church. I still believed in God but I never prayed and never really talked about him. It was when my best guy friend invited my boyfriend to church when I first realized how much I really wanted to go. I tagged along and LOVE the church!!!! I loved the people there, I loved how they praised God…… I HONESTLY LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! My boyfriend of two years had never been to church and had never believed in God. After six months of listening and going to church….HE NOW BELIEVES IN GOD! Just last week he told me that. I honestly am so happy for him! When he told me all I could do was smile! I have recently found a great group of friends at this church and cant wait to see what God has in store for me!!!:)

Even if you don’t believe in God! I hope you find the same passion I found… even if it is not in God!

Hope you all have a wonderful night!
